The Vibration and Acoustic Transducers Laboratory
is dedicated to exploring transducer technology related to vibrations and acoustic phenomena. Our research delves into advancing the understanding and breadth of knowledge surrounding vibrations and acoustic phenomena. A primary focus is also placed on studying the crucial electromechanical coupling phenomena for developing transducers related to these areas.
Our research encompasses the utilization and development of devices associated with vibration and acoustic phenomena. The targeted transducer developments include traditional acoustic transducers like loudspeakers, underwater acoustic projectors, microphones, hydrophones, and innovative concepts such as ultrasonic speakers and ultrasonic distance sensors.
At the Vibration and Acoustic Transducers Laboratory, we’re at the forefront of expanding the boundaries of transducer technology and its applications, merging scientific understanding with practical device development.
